I would really like a MGL meeting, and get to know some of the other people in Michigan outside of Grand Rapids. I have gotten to know some of the Grand Rapids people through Mark Swanson.

Hi folks! I did talk to Bryan about it at Wheatland and he said that his slate was clear to schedule one for september or october...I'll get with him and try to set it up!
Interest is still high, I hope!

Yah, we're about five months overdue!    How, was the Wheatland? Once again, my intentions are not fulfilled. Maybe next year. Mark, so sorry to hear about your bandmate. I know since my dad passed 2 1/2 years ago, I smile more as all the joy he brought to my life outshines any sadness. Hope to see you all soon!

Late October is also best for me. That way I can begin the drive in early October!

Nice to see a meeting getting planned before the snow flies...maybe!?

I am curious, how wide a net is cast for the Michigan members?

I'm usually done with any obligations by 2:30 pm, so provided we meet
somewhere fairly near Ann Arbor and not too early in the day, I'm open to
any day. This will be great! I can't wait!

Steve, the beauty of the MGL is that all are welcome! Come on up--maybe bum a ride with JJ.

One "particular" is that the meetings in the past (3) were all held at Bryan Galloup's shop in Big Rapids, and the last two were on Saturday afternoons. Okay, so that was two "particulars", but I just want to let people new to the group to have some idea of how it's gone thus far. You'd have to confirm with Lance, but I do think his original idea was to venture around the state to see different shops of various hosts. However, Bryan's facility is top notch and perfect for meetings! Hopefully the ball will pick up some momentum!!

All righty then, I'll ask Bryan about a time in the last two weeks of October, and let you know what he says. If as many of you show up to the meeting as have written here, we'll have a dandy one!

Steve...I'm from Indiana and was graciously welcomed as an honorary Michigander. I'm sure you will be just as welcomed. Hope to see you there.

Well, I did leave a message on the machine! <G> I'll keep trying. Joel, it's good to see you here! In fact it's good to see everyone.
I hope you are all busy, I have been! There's four guitars coming together right now.

I talked to Byran last week and I asked him about a date later this month, and we talked about the 28th...he needed to confirm that and said he'd come by here and do that when he could! So I have been watching everyday.
Hey Bryan!!! Shout out!
